N. B. This book belongs to Sophie Jourdain, please contact her via your teacher if you wish to read it
Title: Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde
Author: R. L. Stevenson
Genre: Police Story
Main Characters:
Doctor Jekyll, a very intelligent man and a big scientist.
Mr. Hyde, is Jekyll but transformed, it’s his nickname.
Mr. Enfield is cousin to Mr Utterson.
Mr Utterson is a lawyer.
Mrs Jekyll is Dr Jekyll’s wife.
Story: The plot of the story is a man called Mr Jekyll. He is studying the effects of new anaesthetising drug called cocaine, but his laboratory monkey mixes in another product that the doctor inhales accidentally and which transforms him into a psychopath, a strangler of prostitutes. His wife suspects the truth: she dies from it. Hyde takes over Jekyll definitively.
Opinion: It’s a really good book with lots of suspense, drama… It’s not really complicated to read this book.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
My Opinion:
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was very complicated to understand for me. I knew a little which helped me to understand. What was hard was the long sentences and the structure of the sentences. The two other books were simpler to understand, especially 'The Time Trap'.
