The Bottle Imp
Author: R. L. Stevenson
Genre: fantasy short story
Characters: The main character is Keawe, he was born not far from Honaunau. This man is poor but he can read and write like a school master. He’s a good sailor, he goes to look for a great world.
Story:
This story takes place on the island of Hawaii. This story tells about Keawe’s adventures. One day a man buys a bottle which can realise what we want for fifty dollars. In the bottle there is an imp. Keawe must get rid of the object for fear of being punished and going to hell. But we cannot sell it for more money than what we paid for it. Keawe got everything that he wants and sells the bottle. But when he is about to marry Kokua, he discovers that he has leprosy.
My Opinion:
I found this book very good. It’s a story which has suspense and action. I liked this book very much, and it’s easy to read.

Title: The Bottle Imp
My Opinion:
It is a fantasy book and honestly I liked it even if fantasy books are not my preferred reading. It is a magnificent book written by R. L. Stevenson with a lot of suspense and action.
Furthermore, the sentences are rather simple to understand and there are very few pages, which is better. I recommend it to all those who have difficulties in English.
