Three Tomorrows
Author: Frank Brennan
Genre: Short Stories
Characters:
The first story – in England, Joe Turner, a man, with his daughters and Inez, his mother.
The second story – In Paris in 2106, Fleur marries Lumus.
The third story – 150 years after us. Zima is in a building, in a can of water.
Stories:
Spam – In England, Joe Turner has a computer which has spam. Louise his daughter goes on a camping holiday with her school friends for three weeks. On her return, she discovers a new site for shopping online (an internet shopping company). Everyone started to buy on this site after everyone had been hypnotised by the site and bought anything. Louise discovers the virus, it modified the e-mails and the sending with everyone so that they can be cured. The parents who have been cured discover what they bought: salad bowls, equipment for the garden, and forty slices of chocolate cake.
A Flower of Lumus – In Paris in 2106. Fleur and her husband Lumus is in a restaurant where all the waiters resemble each other. At the end of their dinner they go to a sun room. It’s a computer which does everything where they make their world. They go up to their apartment. And it is discovered that Lumus is a robot since the real one has died. Fleur knows the robot will never replace her husband.
Zima’s Last Dream – Fifteen hundred years from now. Water is assembled. Zima is the only one living, surviving. She remembered her happy days. Today the machines unloaded and took all her brains. And they were used to understand the genesis of human life. Everyone died gradually. Finally there remained only Zima. She had her last dream and died in her turn.
My Opinion:
This book is not interesting because there is no suspense and the stories are far fetched. What with the human ones which are hypnotised by e-mails, robots which replace dead people, and machines which do experiments on human brains…

It’s three short stories.
Spam – It’s a family in England. They hate spam. The main characters are Joe, Inez, and Louise. Joe hates spam. One day a company offering shopping on the internet appears. Louise thinks it is junk. Inez buys a lot of things. In the end there is a lot of chocolate cake.
A Flower for Lumus – Fleur and Lumus are in Paris. Fleur and Lumus take a walk in the garden. They go to a restaurant in a room and Fleur remembers her wedding.
Zima’s Last Dream – It’s stories for Zima. Zima likes drinking water. Zima has memories of when she was small and of her boyfriend.

Title: Three Tomorrows
Author: Frank Brennan
Genre: Science fiction
Opinion: To begin I found this book very nice because it is very simple to read. Besides, the stories are very interesting and exciting. The people and environment are nice. I’ve read a lot of science fiction stories and this one is good. In conclusion, I very much liked this book and I advise all amateurs of science fiction to read it.

Title: The Three Tomorrows
Opinion: I like fantastic stories, they take us into another world and with Three Tomorrows it took me into another dimension.
I find these three stories funny but there isn’t suspense and they all look alike; the story in which men were hypnotised by e-mails, the second story in which robots replace dead men, and the third story where machines do experiments on the human brain.
I prefer the third story because it isn’t a story where humans must live but survive. Here Zima is trapped by water and she is the only survivor because everyone has died but Zima’s brain was also taken by machines which are doing experiments. Finally she also died like the others. This story was the most interesting.
The other two were interesting too but I don’t believe in hypnosis. And I didn’t understand the story ‘A Flower for Lumus’ very well because it’s a strange story.
