The Scarlet Pimpernel
Title: The Scarlet Pimpernel
Author: Baroness Orczy
Genre: Fact and Fiction
Main Characters: a group of young English people, the Englishman (called the Scarlet Pimpernel, which is the name of a red flower).
Story (plot): It’s the story of a group of young English people, including Lord Anthony Dewhurst, Lady Blakeney, the Comtesse de Toumey, Suzanne de Tournay, the Vicomte de Tourney, Sir Andrew Ffoulkes, Marguerite Saint-Juste, the Marquis de Saint Cyr, Chauvelin, Sir Percy, Armand, and others. They are in search of the Scarlet Pimpernel, which is the name of a red flower but also the name given to an Englishman. The group want to find the Scarlet Pimpernel because his identity is unknown and they want him to solve problems.
Opinion: The story is easy and difficult to read, but it is difficult to understand. I liked this story moderately. There are a lot of bonds between the characters.
